What is Plumbers without Borders?

PWB is building an online database network of volunteers, organizations and projects, which we hope will become a legacy platform for “giving back”, for everyone connected with our industry. We believe that by connecting plumbing volunteers and industry resources with organizations and their projects, everyone benefits, and we move closer to reaching the ultimate goal of improving health in all communities, worldwide.

We are a grass-roots, volunteer-driven organization. We extend an open invitation to everyone, whether you’d like to volunteer your plumbing expertise, help us grow as an organization, support us with social media, project recommendations, news stories, educational outreach, fundraising, committees, your participation is important in any and all ways.

Why they are Awesome

  • Following the devastating 2010 earthquake in Haiti, and inspired by the generosity of plumbers everywhere to share their time and skills with people suffering from water and sanitation poverty, two retired Seattle plumbers and their wives, began Plumbers Without Borders.
