What is Kokua TRY-Sport Canada

Kokua is a youth sports initiative for low income and newly immigrated families in Calgary, AB Canada. We provide free youth exposure camps to at-need families where kids aged 7-15 can ‘TRY’ two sports a day over a two week period. Our mission is to eradicate youth poverty, inequality, and in-opportunity through helping them find a passion in athletics that we can then fund for the child on an annual basis.

*Kokua is a Hawaiian term with the meaning “the act of giving with the expectation of nothing in return”.*
