What is Therapeutic Horses of Saratoga?

Therapeutic Horses of Saratoga, Inc. (THS) is a not-for-profit organization which supports retired racehorses in leading a peaceful, safe and meaningful life by rescuing and retraining our horses for therapeutic programing.

THS works in partnership with local certified equine therapists who provide Equine Assisted Learning Services (EAL) to our community’s most vulnerable populations. This includes adults and children with mental illness and social difficulties, veterans, families and couples, victims of domestic violence and others in need of care.

  • THS has joined forces with ECS Psychological Services, P.C. to increase Veteran access to equine-assisted learning services in the local community.
