What is Pasitos De Luz?
Imagine a single mom who lives on the breadline trying to take care of a little girl with Cerebral Palsy while also supporting three other children. Then imagine that this whole family lives in a single room constructed from corrugated iron and cardboard. Pasitos de Luz exists to help just these kinds of families.
We are a registered Mexican not-for-profit that has, for over two decades, provided rehabilitation and therapy to children with special needs from Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit, Mexico. We exist to support and care for children affected by motor, sensorial or learning disabilities, from low-income and single mom families. Everything we offer is 100% FREE-OF-CHARGE. Our services help hundreds of kids become more independent, have a better quality of life and be the best they can be, and include physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, special education, nutrition and much more! We rely completely on donations to operate and are hugely grateful to everyone who has helped us over the years. Our philosophy is #WorkingWithLove
