What is Brighter Bites?

Brighter Bites is a nonprofit that delivers fresh fruits and vegetables directly into families’ hands, while teaching them how to use and choose a different kind of fast food. We make it fun. We make it free. And we make it happen via a simple, three-part formula: Produce Distribution + Nutrition Education + a Fun Food Experience.

Why they are Awesome

  • Over 17 millions pounds of fresh produce has been distributed.

  • More than 150,000 bags are distributed every semester! That’s 20-25 pounds of delicious and nutritious food, per family, per week.
