What is Two A Year?

A charity initiative founded by Ed and Jami on Roatan, in the Bay Islands, Honduras. “Two A Year” means Ed and Jami would like to build at least two houses per year for Hondurans in need.

Ed and Jami have lived full time in Honduras for the past 8 years and together with the love and generosity of over 50 donors, have been able to help many poor and marginalized people.

People on the margins are the homeless, the jobless, the old, the widowed, the orphaned, the handicapped, single moms, children, addicts, victims of disaster, the list goes on. In a third world country, there is no social safety net to care for such people.

Why they are Awesome

  • 100% of every dollar donated is spent on its designated project.

  • These houses take about 3-4 weeks to build, are built by skilled local tradesmen, and cost between $7,000 and $10,000 USD.
